Getinge executive management team expanded

New Vice President of Business Area Sterilization Healthcare
Sven Kristensson, a former Vice President in the Åkerlund & Rausing group of
companies has been appointed new Vice President of Business area Sterilization

Healthcare, effective 1 December 1998. Sven Kristensson will be a member of
the Getinge executive management team.

Harald Castler has been appointed Vice President of Getinge's sales and
marketing operation ex Americas. Harald Castler remains in the executive
management team.

Getinge Industrier
is a medical-technical Group, and a world leader in the fields of
sterilization, disinfection, patient handling and hygiene systems. The Group
had a turnover of SEK 4.6 billion in 1997, and employs 3,500 persons.
