New for 2011: Up to 35 Percent Off Rates and Meal Plans, Free Watersports, PLUS Kids Stay, Eat and Drink Free!
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – (May 16, 2011) -- Elegant Hotels, Barbados, is offering a helping hand to families to make their all-important summer vacation budgets go much, much further. Thanks to Elegant Hotels, families can enjoy a sun-soaked Caribbean vacation without downsizing to reduce costs.
Elegant Hotels is offering savings of up to 35 percent this summer across its four family-friendly properties, both on rates and, at the non-all inclusive properties, on meal plans. All meal plans are up to 35 percent off (Tamarind 30 percent off) and Colony Club (35 percent off), allowing guests to upgrade to half board (including breakfast and lunch or dinner) or full board (including breakfast, lunch and dinner) for as little as $47 per adult, per day. In addition, kids stay free this summer at Tamarind and Colony Club when sharing a room with their parents, and also enjoy free food and soft drinks throughout their stay!
As the average cost of food and drinks per child is calculated to be up to $50 per day, the discount represents a considerable savings of $700 for two kids during a seven-night stay.
Adding to the already substantial savings at the resorts, guests looking to stay at any of the Elegant Hotels properties between June 1 and Oct. 15 will also receive seven nights for the price of six by booking in May.
Guests save even further through Elegant Hotels’ recently launched “Aquaschool” program, which provides complimentary watersports at all of the Elegant properties. With banana boats, waterskiing and paddle boarding among the activities included, should a guest try each of these, the saving equates to $95 per day per guest, or the equivalent of over $2,600 for a family of four during a seven-night stay (if each family member does one activity per day). Guests also enjoy the additional bonus of instruction from Elegant staff at the watersports centers.
Those wishing to stay at Crystal Cove and the all-suite Turtle Beach, Elegant Hotels’ newly refurbished premium all-inclusive resorts, will also benefit this summer with savings of up to 30 percent off rates, and the first child stays free when sharing with an adult.
Howard Friedman, CEO of Elegant Hotels said, "At the Elegant Hotels Group, we pride ourselves on providing hotels with personality and making the most of the local environment, while ensuring we remain competitive in the market and that customers receive great value for their money. Families are key to our business, and we know that keeping up with children’s demands for food and drinks during a summer break can really add up. With watersports being an important draw for tourists to the island, we’re also excited for...
