Tesco customers to be treated to free sampling of their Finest products

Tesco are making a concerted push to maintain and increase their premium produce market share in Exeter, with two special events taking place at the Exeter Vale Extra superstore this weekend (Sat 8th Oct) and next weekend (Sat 15th Oct) between 10.30am-6.30pm. The promotions will focus on Tesco’s Finest and Local ranges respectively.

Customers of the store will be treated to a host of samples of the Tesco Finest range from a specially-erected marquee at the store entrance this Saturday (Sat 8th), including sparkling wine, smoked salmon canapés and a selection of Finest meals.

The following Saturday (15th Oct), customers will be offered the chance to learn about all the local produce from the area that is available in the store and are invited sample a variety of local suppliers’ delicious creations from the Tesco marquee.

Tesco Local Marketing Manager, Andrew Faull, said “We want to help remind our customers about the variety and quality of the Tesco Finest and Local ranges, and also that we are number one for both quality and price. We would also like customers to be aware of the fantastic breadth of produce from the area that is available here at the store.”
