Tesco customers to be treated to free sampling of local products

Tesco are making a concerted push to maintain and increase their premium produce market share in Exeter, with a special event taking place at the Exeter Vale Extra superstore this weekend (Sat 15th Oct) between 10.30am-6.30pm. The promotion will focus on Tesco’s range of local produce sourced from the area.

Customers of the store will be treated to a host of samples of local produce from a specially-erected marquee at the store entrance this Saturday (Sat 15th), and will have the opportunity to learn about all the local brands whose produce is available in store.

Tesco Local Marketing Manager, Andrew Faull, said “We want to help remind our customers about the variety and quality of the Tesco Local ranges, and also that we are number one for both quality and price. We would also like customers to be aware of the fantastic breadth of produce from the area that is available here at the store.”
