SEK 2 million order to Decam for tourism on the Internet

Hiring to create the future's travel service for international actor

The travel industry is being transformed. More and more people are taking
a virtual look at hotel rooms, ski slopes or beaches from home before
tailoring and booking their trips over the Internet. In three years, the
new market is expected to turn over close to $2 billion - in Europe alone.
Decam in Karlskrona will soon develop several Internet portals for The
Tourism Planet, an international tourism guide company on the Internet,
collecting 200,000 hotels world-wide under its wing.

The Tourism Planet has signed Decam Interactive to create portals for
hotel reservations on the Internet and make their contents attractive and
easy to use.

The agreement, which includes developing and maintaining the Internet
portals, is expected to be worth about SEK 2 million ($235,000) for Decam.

The first hotel portal will open in March.
"This is a very interesting project," says Per Magnusson, unit manager at
Decam Interactive. "The travel industry is one that has been transformed

ocean of information on the Internet. We need meeting places, which is
what we are helping to create."

The travel agency of the future
In the near future, many of today's travel agencies are expected to
disappear from the market. Reports from investigations suggest that the
Internet travel market will turn over $2 billion in Europe alone within
three years.
Today, The Tourism Planet has an office in Paris and will soon be opening
one in Geneva, Switzerland - and one in Karlskrona, Sweden as a direct
result of the contract with Decam.

"We need a supplier with the expertise and tools to help us reach our
customers with our message," says Derrick Eppendal, managing director at
The Tourism Planet's marketing firm in France. "With cutting-edge skills
in Internet technology and commercial production, communication and film,
Decam is an excellent partner for us. Our short-term aim is to have the
world's largest, most widely used Internet portal for hotels, with special
offers for hotels in the mountains, at beaches, in major cities and for
conferences."

"This project could develop into something huge," says Magnusson. "I
suspect that this is just the tip of the iceberg. This order is
strategically very important for Decam. We will be able to show a larger
market how our...
