Settlement in connection with the combination of Hemköp and D&D delayed
until 17 March

Due to technical reasons, the settlement relating to acceptances furnished
during the ordinary subscription period ending 25 February 2000 is delayed
and will be initiated around 17 March 2000.

The newly issued shares are expected to be listed on the OM Stockholm
Exchange's A-list around 17 March 2000.

The newly issued shares, temporarily called "AkU" by VPC (the Swedish
Securities Register) will be separately listed on the OM Stockholm
Exchange's A-list with the designation "U" until the Ordinary General
Meeting in Hemköp decides upon dividend payment for the fiscal year 1999.

The newly issued shares, "AkU", entitle to dividend payment from the
fiscal year 2000. The separate listing will cease after the record day for
the dividend payment.
