BILTEMA, the largest suppliers of automobile parts, accessories, tools and chemicals in the Nordics has chosen the Astro WMS Warehouse Management system from Consafe Logistics for its new warehouse in Halmstad, south west Sweden. The company is investing is a future-proof system that fulfils BILTEMA’s high demands for flexibility while supporting the company’s plans for expansion.
BILTEMA has stores in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark that are primarily run as franchises. Today, BILTEMA stores have sales of around 3,5 Billion SEK. By end 2006 there will be more than 40 BILTEMA stores in the Nordic countries and 60-70 stores by 2011. The company currently has warehouses in Linköping, Motala, Lammhult, Halmstad and a couple of external warehouses.
