Stena Poseidon and Palva named in Split

The product tankers Stena Poseidon and Palva, which are jointly owned by Concordia Maritime and Neste Oil on a 50-50 basis, will be named today. Concordia Maritime invests in two more P-MAX tankers (65,200 deadweight tons)

Concordia Maritime has exercised existing options and placed an order with the Brodosplit shipyard in Croatia for a further two vessels in the P-MAX series, thus extending the series to ten units. Concordia Maritime has invested a total of more than SEK 3.5 billion in its new fleet, which currently consists of ten P-MAX tankers and two Panamax tankers. The two vessels now ordered are expected to be delivered in 2010.

Delivery Stena Performance

Today Concordia Maritime took delivery of Stena Performance, the forth vessel in the P-MAX series of total eight vessels. The vessel is as previously announced chartered for five years to the American oil company Amerada Hess Corporation.

Concordia Maritime signs charter contracts with Lukoil

Concordia Maritime has today signed two-year timecharter contracts for the V-MAX vessels Stena Vision and Stena Victory with Litasco, a subsidiary of the Russian oil company Lukoil.
