September 15, 2011 - Burbank, California - In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, Unique Vintage, an online women's clothing and accessories boutique, is preparing to donate 20% of the sales they earn on their "pink" products to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
"Because a majority of our customers and employees are women, this cause is extremely important to us," said Kate Echeverry, owner of Unique Vintage. "This is our fourth year contributing to NBCF and I'm happy to say each year, we're able to write them a larger check."
Some of the "pink" items Unique Vintage is promoting during the month of October include pink floral designed umbrellas, pink sunglasses, pink retro-style ice bags, pink aprons and pink scarves.
Charity contributions are not new for Unique Vintage. Since starting the online web business 10 years ago, Echeverry and her team have been proud supporters of the ASPCA, The Boxer Rescue, Little Pug Angel Rescue and KIVA.org, offering micro-loans to entrepreneurs across the globe for the sake of alleviating poverty.
