Cardo wins orders worth SEK 13 million from treatment plants in China

Cardo’s division Wastewater Technology Solutions has entered into agreements on delivery and installation of pumps and mixers for two wastewater treatment plants in China. Together, the orders are worth approximately SEK 13 million.
“The fact that we have succeeded in taking these orders further strengthens our position in China and shows that we have the presence and skills to continue to expand in this market,” says Peter Aru, Cardo’s President and CEO.
The treatment plants, which are situated in central and northeastern China, are part of the country’s expansion of wastewater systems and treatment plants. In recent years, the Chinese authorities have made major investments in wastewater treatment and have decided to invest a further SEK 750 billion during 2009.
The orders will be booked during the first quarter. Deliveries are expected to occur during 2009.
