Cardo receives order worth EUR 1.5 million for delivery of doors

Cardo’s division Door & Logistics Solutions has entered into an agreement to deliver and install 30 doors at an airport in Alaska. The order is worth EUR 1.5 million.
“We are seeing continued exciting developments within the segment comprising doors for the aviation industry, and the order confirms our position and ability to meet high performance requirements,” says Peter Aru, Cardo’s President and CEO.
Under the brand name Megadoor, Cardo sells doors for sectors that include the aviation, shipyard and mining industries. The doors can be installed in new buildings or in existing buildings without the need for reconstruction.
The order doors in this order will be installed in maintenance hangars for which there are exacting requirements in respect of reliability, energy efficiency and maintenance costs.
The order was registered during the second quarter. Delivery is expected to occur in October 2009.
