Burley’s innovative Travoy™ commuter trailer offers a hassle-free way to haul your stuff

EUGENE, Ore. – Burley’s newest trailer fills a void for the bike commuter – a convenient, secure way to handle your stuff, whether it’s a change of clothes for the office, a week’s worth of groceries or up to 60 pounds of cargo. Plus, at your destination, you can quickly unhitch the compact trailer from the bike and wheel it along with you.

“After 30 years of building trailers for kids, pets and cargo, we decided to focus on helping commuters do more on their bikes,” said Mike Coughlin, CEO of Burley Design. “Whether it’s shopping, hauling garden supplies, loading up the golf clubs or transporting a tuba, the Travoy™ can handle it. It’s simply the perfect urban trailer system.”

The trailer hitches to the seat post of any bike at a 45-degree angle, redistributing the load’s weight for easier riding. The Travoy sets up in minutes, attaches and detaches in seconds and features a revolutionary design that converts to a rolling cart with a twist of the wrist – so you can take it all with you. Weighing only ten pounds, the Travoy stands on its own when loaded or folds down to a briefcase size, even with optional bags attached.

With an MSRP of $289, the Travoy urban trailer comes complete with a basic cargo bag (also used to store the folded trailer when not in use) and tie-down straps for bulkier cargo. Accessory bags are available from $59 to $89.
