Luxury long-haul options for winter 2010/11
Travel giant TUI has announced two additional long-haul departures from Bristol next winter as part of its cruise programme.
South West holidaymakers will be able to fly from Bristol to Barbados before boarding the flagship Thomson Dream as it sails from Bridgetown to Havana in December 2010. The following March, cruise-lovers have the opportunity to fly to the Dominican Republic to join the Thomson Destiny on its cruise through the West Indies in March 2011. Both cruises are 14 nights in duration.
Jason Wescott, Head of Sales & Marketing at Bristol International Airport, said:
“This is exciting news and adds luxury, long-haul options to the winter sun programme available from Bristol International.
“The cruise market is strong in the South West, but we know many holidaymakers prefer a local departure, reducing the need to travel by road to ports and airports outside the region.”
The Caribbean options come in addition to an extensive range of Mediterranean cruise choices available from Bristol International next winter.
Prices start at £1,949 for the Dream package, and £1,599 for the Destiny cruise. Both cruises are on sale now.
Departure dates from Bristol International Airport:
Thomson Dream – 23 December 2010
Thomson Destiny – 6 March 2011
Ends
