Bestival success for Isle of Pink fundraisers!
Bestival went pink for Breast Cancer Campaign’s Isle of Pink fundraising initiative and helped raise more than £1800 over the three day period for breast cancer research.
Team Pink volunteers brought some colour to Bestival illuminating the Isle of Pink fundraising stall, where festival-goers could buy a range of pink goods such as wigs, wands, whistles and wings, as well as get their face painted in support of the charity, helping to turn the event as pink as possible.
Exclusive Breast Cancer Campaign wristbands were very popular amongst the revellers, as was a game inspired by TV gameshow ‘The Cube’ where revellers were asked to sort coloured balls in the shortest time for the chance to win a ticket to next year’s festival, generously donated by the Bestival team.
Debbie Morris, who was part of the team of volunteers who ran the stall, said: “Bestival was absolutely amazing and it was great to have so much support from revellers at the Isle of Pink stall. Thanks to festival-goers the event was filled with pink and we raised some much needed funds for breast cancer research.”
