August 27 – Minneapolis, MN – Themed cruises have always been a popular sell for cruise lines and a draw for passengers. Cruising with like-minded people, with a common interest tends to encourage commonality onboard and new friendships for the future.
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has over 60 topics or themes throughout the upcoming cruise season. The Titanic Mini Cruise was designed to sail prior to the Titanic Memorial Cruise in April 2012, organized by Miles Morgan Travel. The mini cruise departs Southampton April 3, 2012, visiting Liverpool, England and Belfast, Ireland before returning on April 8. Cruise highlights include a visit to the Harland and Wolff shipyard, in Belfast, where the RMS Titanic was built between 1909 and 1911, and an optional shore excursion to visit Thomas Andrew’s home, the Titanic’s designer.
