Hans Holmstedt appointed as Acting Purchasing Director for Axfood

Hans Holmstedt has been appointed as Acting Purchasing Director for Axfood and will take up his new position on 13 June 2011. He replaces the current Purchasing Director, Mats Sjödahl, who is leaving for another assignment. Holmstedt, 43, is currently Head of Axfood's Fruit & Vegetables business area. He has been with Axfood since 2005 and will be a member of Axfood's Executive Committee.

Axfood AB conducts food retail and wholesale business in Sweden. Retail business is conducted through the wholly owned store chains Willys, Hemköp and PrisXtra, comprising 229 stores in all.
