Aura Light launches a T5 Long Life fluorescent tube with 10 % energy saving

The lighting company Aura Light now launches an energy saving T5 fluorescent tube in Long Life version. The lamp can be used in existing luminaries, which means that no further investments are needed. For the users this means energy savings from day one.
Aura Light has developed a unique Long Life concept for light sources so that lamps last three times longer than standard products, saving both money and the environment. The company has already a T8-version of Eco Saver and extends the range now with a T5 version. This new energy saving Long Life tube is guaranteed to last at least three times longer than a standard product, which means that only one third of the replacements are needed.
“We are proud to offer this energy saving T5 Eco Saver tube. With this unique fluorescent lamp, our customers can save money on both maintenance and energy while, protecting the environment,” says Martin Malmros, CEO and Group Director at Aura Light International AB.
Eco Saver reduces the environmental impact with two thirds thanks to the Long Life technology and reduces the energy consumption with 174 kWh /tube. A building with 1000 lamps can save 1445 GBP during a year. Over the life time of the lamp the user reduces the CO2-emissions by 103 112 kg. The new tubes can be used in existing luminaries, which makes it easy to switch to energy efficient lighting without making any further investments.
The Aura Eco Saver reduces energy and maintenance costs at the same time. The products are also climate neutral through Aura Lights cooperation with ClimateCare.
