THE SPICE ROUTE OF INDIA AT LUCKNAM PARK HOTEL & SPA
INDIAN MENU AT THE BRASSERIE, OCTOBER 2010
This October, alongside the usual Brasserie evening menu, there will be a special Indian 3 course menu created by Hrishikesh Desai, Roux Scholarship Winner 2009.
Throughout October Hrishikesh will showcase the diverse flavours found in traditional Indian cooking that first inspired him.Using ingredients and spices from the contrasting regions of India, diners will be taken on a culinary journey of this spectacular and romantic country.
• 4th to 10th October 2010: Western India
The first week’s menu will present dishes from the Maharashtra region in the west of India, perhaps best known for its capital city of Mumbai..
• 11th to 17th October 2010: Northern India
Moving on to the Northern Indian regions, the second week’s menu focuses on the cuisine of Kashmir, Delhi and Punjab.
• 18th to 24th October 2010: Eastern India
The menu for the third week will introduce flavours and ingredients from Eastern India.
• 25th to 31st October 2010: Southern India
For the final week, Hrishikesh will create dishes from the South of India – the origin of his favourite Indian cuisine.
Not to be missed, the Spice Route of India event will include a 3 course menu with a choice of 3 dishes for each course, for £27.
