Michael Isakson, president and chief operating officer of ServiceMaster Franchise Services Group, announced today that Kathy Thiessen has been promoted to the role of vice president and general manager of AmeriSpec, the nation’s oldest and largest home inspection network and Furniture Medic, the largest furniture repair and restoration service in North America and Europe.  She replaces Brent Armstrong who was recently named to the newly created role of chief operating officer for Merry Maids.

With more than 30 years of experience at ServiceMaster, most recently as director of development for AmeriSpec, Furniture Medic and ServiceMaster Clean Residential, Thiessen brings a vast amount of knowledge, expertise and experience to her new role.
