New head of Investment Management at Alecta

Staffan Grefbäck, aged 46, has been appointed as the new head of
Investment Management at Alecta, formerly Försäkringsbolaget SPP,
ömsesidigt. Staffan Grefbäck will take up his new position as President
of Alecta Kapitalförvaltning AB on 1 October 2001.
Staffan Grefbäck has worked in the present Nordea Group's asset
management company since 1987 in a number of leading positions. In 1995-
1998 he was President of Nordbanken's fund company and investment
manager. He has been President of Nordea Kapitalförvaltning AB with 130
employees and head of the long-term savings business unit since 1998.
Sverker Praski, 56, Alecta's current head of Investment Management, will
take up a newly established position on 1 October where, reporting
directly to the President of Alecta, Lars Otterbeck, he will be
responsible for long-term and strategic analyses of Alecta's
investments.
Sverker Praski has worked within the SPP/Alecta Group since 1991 as
Chief Strategist until April 2000 when he succeeded Anders Ek as
president of Alecta Kapitalförvaltning AB.
