The IT services company 3 Step IT has carried out an annual survey of its employees’ job satisfaction. According to the survey, 87 percent of the employees are satisfied with their job and their employer, compared to a year earlier when the figure was 83 percent.
“We have chosen Great Place to Work trust index assessment as an international tool to develop our management systems and corporate culture, and through these our employee satisfaction,” says 3 Step IT’s CEO, Artti Aurasmaa. “The success of service operations is built on a motivated, enthusiastic, and successful working community. We do not seek quick profits, but aim for long-term development. According to our experience, job satisfaction correlates mostly to how supervisors relate to their subordinates as individuals, not only as employees. Hence, our development area for this year is individual leadership.”
